“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” -Nelson Mandela

The opportunities available for learning today are varied and exciting. The exposure is phenomenal. It is essential to have checks and balance in order to ensure the wellbeing of our children. Our school provides a safe and comfortable environment for our children to learn and develop. It has been a platform where, beyond the core education we provide high quality, faith-based education in a family-type surrounding, successfully preparing students for their future, growth and development. We, teachers, encourage independent as well as team learning experiences allowing the children to develop skills in the areas that are critical in future education and the work environment. We strive for excellence by creating and providing a unique culture by focusing on curriculum as well as extracurricular activities to bring out the best in each child.

Keeping together is progress,
Working together is success”

My journey with NCS, Cbe began in March, 2016. It has been a wonderful tenure with the school.

I felt more momentous in NCS, for the first time after years when I stood in a classroom and realized that being a teacher makes my life more meaningful. The school has given me a good exposure and extended the margins into the field of education. Every day at NCS has something to give, something to gain, something to learn and advance. . It is worthy to mention that the staff is being cared for in every way, personally and professionally at NCS and the management never fails to keeps us motivated. As a team we were always on the ball, encouraging and supporting each other in a task big or small. To have begun as the class teacher for class 1, it was a head start for my teaching career. Being with children, growing them up, teaching and learning along with them certainly makes a difference. I understood that teaching requires no arcane knowledge but only the love which every little heart needs. I
must say that it is the children who keep my spirits high and every little acknowledgement that they make are my most cherished rewards. I have made many fond memories and have had remarkable experiences which will never fade. I feel very proud and contented to be a part of this prestigious institution and looking forward for many more years of association with NCS.

“To teach is to touch a life forever” –remembering this eternal verity, a wholesome learning is achieved in our school by training the students to face persistent and competitive society without losing their spirit of altruism.

As teachers, we constantly strive to give our learners hands-on experience so as to tap and channelize their potential to the best of their abilities.   We tend to embrace the best practices of the 21st century learning and offer our students an interactive, student-centered curriculum that will foster creativity, critical thinking and global citizenship.

Education is not just about the subjects that are learnt and taught in school. Becoming educated is not restricted to being in school and then in college. It is a lifelong exercise that can be unbelievably exciting if only we wish to jump onto the train of experience and take a trip to every conceivable place on the earth.

Learning gives creativity,

creativity leads to thinking,

thinking provides knowledge,

knowledge makes you great.

– Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam

First, we all have to be on the same page: children, teachers and parents have to understand that education is not restricted to lessons taught in the classroom from text books. We must encourage children to ask as many questions as they can. For it is in wanting to know that will result in actually getting to know.

The thirst for knowledge is not restricted to the child. It is also essential for a parent and a teacher to keep adding to their own knowledge bank by keeping their eyes and ears open and by reading as much as possible and ensuring that children develop these habits as well.

To ensure academic proficiency, the school also works towards proper physical, psychological, social and cultural growth of the students. Students imbibe not only the knowledge reflected in their studies, but also a self confidence that is reflected throughout their lives. We equip the students to prepare for the 21st century, with all skills in all the aspects.

We at NCS believe in carefully nurturing these young minds to become great global citizens in order to build a better world.
